Job summary

GDM Seeds Inc. is seeking a Sales Development Associate (SDA) to participate in a 12-24 month learning journey across the US, developing skills in seed sales and market strategy. You will work with the sales team on projects that impact the business and may eventually transition into a sales role.

The program emphasizes hands-on exposure to research, production, marketing, and customer care, with opportunities to advance while developing leadership and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in Agricultural Sciences or related field.
• Willingness to relocate and travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop foundational sales competencies through formal, collaborative training.
• Build relationships across GDM Seeds with multiple resource partners and leaders.
• Gain hands-on experience across research, production, marketing, finance, logistics and customer care.
• Support territory analysis and recruitment, attracting and developing customers.
