Job summary

Brown Group Companies is seeking a dependable Security Guard for BBG Brandon in Brandon, MS. The role combines warehouse duties and guard house security, ensuring safe entry, accurate vehicle identification, inspections, and inventory checks.

Shifts Monday through Friday 10:00am to 6:30pm; physical tasks include lifting up to 30 lbs continuously and 60 lbs intermittently, plus ability to push/pull carts. Forklift experience is a plus and strong communication with staff and vendors is required.

Responsibilities

Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm

While in the Warehouse, team member will perform clean up, move product and sort damaged/expired product, and prepare cardboard packing for recycle. Warehouse and dock area are not temperature controlled. While in the Guard House, team member ensures that vehicles entering and exiting the facility are properly identified, inspected and product inventory is checked.

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently
• Able to push/pull a cart weighing up to 260 pounds
• Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
