Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Security Tooling Specialist for the GSRS Security Systems and Technology team in the United States. You will design secure, scalable tooling that integrates frontend UI with backend infrastructure, embedding Google’s AI and LLM technologies to accelerate automation and reduce operational friction.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex security requirements into intuitive tools, mentor peers, and drive engineering best practices while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines using SQL.
• Experience developing enterprise AI/ML solutions with LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver secure, scalable tooling for GSRS operations.
• Bridge frontend interfaces and backend infrastructure with AI/LLM integration.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex requirements into usable tools.
• Track performance metrics and ROI for developed solutions.
• Own the technical roadmap and sustain solutions with vendor partnerships.
• Provide expert technical support while ensuring privacy and security.
