Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking a seasoned Security Tool Engineer – Armis to lead and optimize enterprise security tool initiatives across Armis, CAASM, and Elastic Stack environments. The role requires strong scripting, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and automation.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in information security, relevant certifications such as CISSP/CISM/ISSEP, and hands-on experience with Armis and Axonius.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of Information Security/Cybersecurity or related IT experience.
• CISSP, CISM, ISSEP, or equivalent security certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate security tool initiatives, managing requirements, schedules, dependencies, and action items to ensure project delivery.
• Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Armis and related CAASM/asset intelligence solutions; experience with Axonius is desirable.
• Support Elastic Stack/Elastic SIEM for security data search, analysis, observability, visualization, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Server, Network, and Operations teams to implement security solutions and integrations.
• Perform command-line administration, operations and maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot security infrastructure, servers, applications, network connectivity, and LAN/WAN performance issues.
• Implement and manage security solutions and integrations that enhance infrastructure management and threat intelligence.
• Analyze requirements, recommend system enhancements, and develop specifications based on customer and operational needs.
• Evaluate existing security frameworks and technologies for automation and optimization.
• Apply CIS Controls, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, and DISA STIGs; maintain detailed technical documentation.

Security Tool Engineer – Armis

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Tool Engineer – Armis to support the implementation, administration, integration, automation, and optimization of enterprise security tools and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Armis, Axonius, CAASM, Elastic Stack/Elastic SIEM, security automation, scripting, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Support Elastic Stack/Elastic SIEM for security data search, analysis, observability, visualization, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Server, Network, and Operations teams to implement security solutions, automation, integrations, and process improvements.
• Perform command-line administration, operations and maintenance (O&M), configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot security infrastructure, servers, applications, network connectivity, and LAN/WAN performance issues.
• Implement and manage security solutions and integrations that enhance infrastructure management, security operations, and threat intelligence capabilities.
• Analyze technical and implementation requirements, recommend system enhancements, and develop specifications based on customer and operational needs.
• Evaluate existing and future security frameworks and technologies and recommend opportunities for automation, optimization, and improvement.
• Apply security hardening and compliance standards, including CIS Controls, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, and DISA STIGs.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, procedures, processes, and service records.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Approximately 8+ years of Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related IT experience.
• Current professional security certification such as CISSP, CISM, ISSEP, or equivalent/higher-level Information Security certification.
• Hands-on experience with Armis, preferably including CAASM, asset discovery, asset intelligence, integrations, and security operations.
• Experience with Axonius and/or Elastic Stack/Elastic SIEM is highly desirable.
• Strong command-line administration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support skills.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals and experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity and performance issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively across technical and business teams.
• Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Pay Range

$130,000 - $150,000 USD
