Job summary

E-Logic is seeking a qualified Security Technician II to support the U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center Visitor Control Center in Maryland.

The role focuses on visitor processing, badge issuance, access control, and verification of security clearances for personnel entering restricted areas. Responsibilities include issuing RA/CAC badges, monitoring the Visitor Control Mailbox, and maintaining accurate visitor records while upholding strict confidentiality in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in a physical security environment or an Associate's Degree in a security-related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process visitor and access control information.
• Proficiency with access control systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and DISS.

Responsibilities

• Process, screen, and issue badges to all visitors entering designated Restricted Areas.
• Manage and monitor the Visitor Control Mailbox, ensuring all access requests are processed within 24 hours.
• Verify personnel security clearances using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
• Fabricate and issue Restricted Area (RA) badges and Common Access Cards (CACs) in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor records and ensure compliance with physical security protocols.
• Provide professional customer service and clear communication with visitors, government personnel, and internal teams.
• Support VCC operations during standard operating hours: Monday-Thursday (0600-1600) and Friday (0600-1500).
