Job summary

Accel Communications, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a motivated Security Systems Technician to install, service, troubleshoot, program, and maintain commercial security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on low-voltage experience and strong troubleshooting skills, with preferred experience on Eagle Eye Networks, Brivo and DMP systems. NICET certification is a plus; we invest in training and certification.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Security Systems Technician to join our growing team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves installing, servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and maintaining commercial security systems including access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion alarm systems, and fire alarm systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on low-voltage experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a professional attitude when working with customers and project teams.

Experience with Eagle Eye Networks camera systems, Brivo access control systems, and DMP security systems is highly preferred.

NICET certification is a plus, but not required. We are committed to investing in our employees and will help pay for training and certification programs for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial security systems
• Configure, program, and troubleshoot Eagle Eye Networks camera systems
• Install, program, and service Brivo access control systems
• Install, program, and service DMP intrusion alarm systems
• Program and configure customer security platforms and devices
• Maintain and update customer databases, user credentials, access levels, and system documentation
• Troubleshoot access control, CCTV, alarm, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
• Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling
• Test and verify proper system operation
• Maintain accurate service documentation and project notes
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members
• Follow safety standards and company procedures

Qualifications

• Experience with security systems, low-voltage cabling, or related electrical work preferred
• Experience with Eagle Eye Networks, Brivo, and DMP systems strongly preferred
• Experience programming and managing security systems preferred
• Knowledge of access control, IP cameras, alarm systems, or structured cabling is a plus
• NICET certification preferred but not required
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commercial construction or service environments
• Network and IP-based systems
