Job summary

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Security Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and work with our team of security installers across multiple job sites
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily installation activities to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
• Perform advanced installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection)
• Ensure all work meets Pavion quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations
• Serve as the primary point of contact in the field for technicians, project managers, and customers
• Train, mentor, and develop junior technicians to improve overall team skill level and performance
• Conduct site walks, verify materials, and ensure proper system design execution
• Maintain accurate documentation, including job progress, changes, and completion reports
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and rework

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years of experience in security system installation (CCTV, access control, intrusion systems)
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
• Proven experience leading or supervising installation teams
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, wiring standards, and industry best practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Manufacturer Certifications (i.e. Lenel, AMAG, SWH, Verkada, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha, Axis)
• Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA compliance

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00-$35.00 per hour . The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
