Job summary

PTC Inc is seeking a Security Technical Product Manager in Boston, hybrid role, to define security requirements for CAD features including AI and connected services. You will collaborate with engineering to prioritize security projects, oversee SOC 2 readiness, and manage vulnerability remediation across teams.

The position emphasizes secure architecture reviews, threat modeling, and implementing security controls throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related STEM field is required.
• Ability to commute to the Seaport Boston office at least 2 days a week.
• Minimum 3 years as a Technical Product Manager or Product Security Engineer.
• Software development experience in C++, Java, and JavaScript.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define technical security requirements for PTC CAD features, including AI and connected services.
• Conduct threat modeling and secure architecture reviews for new functionality.
• Manage SOC 2 compliance, annual security assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and oversee complex security projects.
• Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities across functional teams.
• Promote built-in security across the product lifecycle and security best practices.
• Oversee rollout of security controls, scanning tools, and process updates.
• Collaborate on product security standards, policies, and incident response.
• Communicate security posture and compliance status to stakeholders.
