Job summary

Kings Island is hiring for a Security Team member responsible for guest and staff safety at the park. The role involves screening guests, controlling entry, and enforcing security procedures to maintain a secure environment.

Applicants should be able to interact well with people from diverse backgrounds, work as part of a safety-focused team, and remain calm under pressure during busy periods, holidays, and events. This on-site position offers opportunities for advancement and park perks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and team members entering the park and guide them through screening.
• Facilitate screening for firearms and unauthorized weapons using detection units.
• Perform bag checks and cooler searches for prohibited items.
• Check identification at entrances to prevent unauthorized entry.
• May assist with traffic direction and control in the parking lot.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older for this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and team members entering the park and guide them through the screening process.

• Checks identification at team members and contractor entrances to prevent unauthorized entry.
• May assist with traffic direction and control in the parking lot.
