Advanced Cable Connection, Inc. (ACCI) is hiring a Security Technician in Tampa, FL. This full-time role focuses on installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and leadership of security projects including access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in commercial security, experience with major brands, and the ability to lead small teams while maintaining safety and high workmanship. Will travel within 75 miles of Tampa and own hand tools.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/security training preferred.
5–7 years of experience in commercial security system installation and service.
Experience with leading brands (Software House, Kantech, Lenel, Bosch, DSC, Honeywell, Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Avigilon).
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage small teams.
Strong reading of blueprints, risers, and system diagrams.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, configuration, troubleshooting of access control, intrusion, and CCTV systems.
Program and commission security panels, readers, sensors, and cameras.
Supervise junior technicians and coordinate small project teams.
Ensure safety protocols and high workmanship standards.
Provide site surveys, documentation, and client communications.
