Job summary

TRIPhase Technologies is seeking a skilled Security Systems Installer to install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems in commercial environments. You will work on audio/visuals, access control, and CCTV, following blueprints and company standards.

This role requires physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, occasional travel, and strong customer-service orientation as you coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure satisfaction and security excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in electronic security, alarm, video or access control.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and advanced cabling technologies.
• Professional, customer-service oriented demeanor.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers and co-workers.
• Process paperwork and take notes with detail.
• Be committed to quality and exceeding customer expectations in security.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physically able to lift 50+ pounds, stand up to 8 hours, bend, climb ladders.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours; on-call rotation.
• Willingness to travel 4-6 times a year.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent; additional certifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and maintain security systems and equipment.
• Follow blueprints of electrical layouts.
• Diagnose and repair system issues during on-site calls.
• Test and program alarms and train customers on system use.
• Run wires through cavities and secure terminations.
• Configure hard wired and wireless networks and components (Networking/IT).
• Coordinate with project managers, builders, and other trades on jobsites.
• Preserve customer confidentiality.
