Koorsen Fire and Security in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Security Systems Installation Technician to join our team. You will install intrusion, video surveillance, access control, intercom, and monitoring systems per drawings and ensure customers understand the system functionality.

The role requires 1–3 years of installation experience, the ability to read diagrams and specifications, a valid driver's license, and the willingness to meet licensing and vendor certification

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in installation of security systems, access control, and CCTV.
• Pass drug and background screenings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications.

Salary

$19 - $40 / hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• The installation of security products and systems, including Intrusion, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intercom, and Monitoring
• Install security products and systems per drawings.
• Ensure customers understand the functionality of their system.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally.

Required

• Access and Video Manufacturer’s certifications
• Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of IT functionality

Physical Demands

• Able to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools.
• Must be able to use a cell phone and phone apps effectively.
• Lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Push and pull more significant than 75 lbs.
• Climb a ladder reaching at least 12 feet and use a man lift to perform services.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear.
