Nemacolin is seeking an Overnight Security Supervisor to lead a security team, implement management directives, and ensure the safety of guests and assets at the resort in Pennsylvania. The role requires supervision, investigations, and keeping current on security laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level not required; High School diploma required.
• PA Act 235 certification preferred, not required.
• Experience supervising security personnel is preferred.
• At least 1 year of resort experience required.
• Ability to work varied shifts including flex/float shifts.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities; independent work capability.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to speak English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of security personnel.
• Oversee emergency procedures.
• Protect Nemacolin assets and property.
• Conduct investigations and surveillance as needed.
• Advise on security and safety actions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security laws and policies.
• Issue disciplinary actions when appropriate.
• Log and maintain records for alarms and artwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Note: The compensation offered for this position is $26.00, which includes an hourly rate of $25.00 and an additional $1.00 per hour in shift differential.

Position Summary

The Overnight Security Supervisor at Nemacolin is responsible for: Following broadly based directions, training and developing subordinate Security Department personnel, implementing Department Management directive, supervising Security Department personnel, reading and analyzing a wide variety of instructional and training information, interacting and communicating with people representing a wide variety of units and organizations, conducting disciplinary and counseling sessions when necessary, developing department schedules, ensuring operational status, and conducting weekly random checks of alarm systems.

Essential Functions

• Supervise activities of various security personnel
• Oversee emergency procedures.
• Supervise the protection of all Nemacolin assets.
• Conduct company related investigations and surveillance.
• Advise on course of action on security and safety concerns.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in regard to current security laws and policies
• Issue disciplinary actions when appropriate
• Maintain and log records of artwork and alarm system.
• Other Job duties assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• High School Graduate.
• PA Act 235 certification preferred, not required.
• Supervisory Experience preferred.
• At least 1 years’ experience working on a resort required.
• Able to work various shifts, including flex shift/float position.
• Must possess excellent leadership skills and be able to make sound decisions,
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Must be able to speak and write English.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license.
• Must be able to speak English.
