GardaWorld Security is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on monitoring security systems, recording events, and responding to incidents to protect people and property. Site is in Kansas City, Missouri, with a set schedule on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Current/valid driver’s license
• CPR certification preferred
• Able to pass extensive screening process
• Strong report writing and concentration
• Proficient with technology
• Security/Military/Law enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and detect suspicious activity
• Write detailed incident reports
• Respond to incidents or threats promptly
• Perform regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access and verify visitor identities
• Assess security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Coordinate with law enforcement in emergencies
• Protect people and property

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 21 years of age
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have current/valid driver's license
• Current/valid CPR Certification preffered
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skillsSharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology

• You have a state license if required
