Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Surveillance Security Supervisor to monitor and analyze security systems across several facilities. You will lead the surveillance operations, respond to incidents, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• You have security experience.
• You have prior leadership and supervisory experience in security or military/law enforcement fields.
• You have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Supervisor – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Set schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 2nd shift 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
