GardaWorld Security Services in Kirkland, WA is seeking a casual Response Security Officer with a focus on flexibility and strong situational awareness. The role covers patrols, customer service, and surveillance, adapting quickly to daily needs.

You will lead on-site during incidents, assist with training, organize post coverage, and coordinate shifts, while upholding GardaWorld standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have Security Supervisory/Managerial experience.
• Must have a valid state driver?s license.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership during incidents or emergencies.
• Assist with training and onboarding of officers on site-specific expectations.
• Provide post coverage when necessary.
• Supervise and direct Security Officers on shift.
• Coordinate shift coverage and respond to staffing gaps or call-offs.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity and ensure safety.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Ensure adherence to post orders and GardaWorld standards.
• Respond quickly to incidents or threats while maintaining customer service.
• Write detailed/incidents reports and collaborate with authorities.

As a casual Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

• Site Location: Kirkland, Washington
• Schedule 1: Tuesday - Saturday 12am-8am (40 hours a week / full time)
• Schedule 2: Full Time: Must have open availability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift

• Providing leadership and direction during incidents or emergencies
• Assisting with training and onboarding officers on site-specific expectations
• Providing post coverage when operationally necessary
• Supervising and providing day-to-day direction to Security Officers
• Coordinating shift coverage and responding to staffing gaps or call-offs
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Ensuring officers follow post orders, site procedures, and GardaWorld standards
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications For Response Security Guard

• Must have Security Supervisory/Managerial experience
• Must have a valid state driver's license
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
