Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Supervisor for our Santa Monica corporate campus.

The role provides direct oversight of security personnel, ensuring proper post orders, shift briefings, and responsive incident handling to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of supervisory security experience, and an active California Guard Card.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Security Officers during assigned shifts.
• Ensure officers are properly deployed and adhering to post orders.
• Conduct shift briefings and pass-down communications.
• Monitor security activity and respond to incidents as needed.
• Complete incident reports and operational documentation.
• Assist with investigations and security-related inquiries.
• Coach, mentor, and train security personnel.
• Identify and elevate operational concerns.
• Support emergency response activities and business continuity efforts.
• Maintain a strong customer-service presence with employees and visitors.

Security Supervisor - Corporate Campus

The Security Supervisor provides direct oversight of security personnel and supports the day-to-day operations of a professional corporate security program. This position serves as the first level of leadership on-site and works closely with the Post Commander to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Security Officers during assigned shifts.
• Ensure officers are properly deployed and adhering to post orders.
• Conduct shift briefings and pass-down communications.
• Monitor security activity and respond to incidents as needed.
• Complete incident reports and operational documentation.
• Assist with investigations and security-related inquiries.
• Coach, mentor, and train security personnel.
• Identify and elevate operational concerns.
• Support emergency response activities and business continuity efforts.
• Maintain a strong customer-service presence with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields.
• Active California Guard Card required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in dynamic situations.
• Basic computer proficiency and report-writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate security experience.
• Experience supervising multiple officers and shifts.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience using access control and CCTV systems.
