Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a Security Specialist to support the Space Development Agency (SDA) in Virginia. The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and at least 5 years of related experience.

You will process access requests, indoctrinations, and maintain personnel records, while supporting PHYSEC, OPSEC, and industrial security. The role offers a competitive salary range ($100,000-$125,000) and opportunities to work on space defense initiatives within a fast-paced government

• In-process personnel supporting SDA.
• Process incoming and outgoing Visit Access Requests.
• Perform security indoctrinations.
• Process foreign travel notifications and debriefs.
• Provide clearance verification for account requests.
• Prepare documents and packages for mailing.
• Maintain/update personnel records in multiple systems.
• Provide support to internal Security functions including PHYSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial Security.
• Perform preliminary inquiries for security infractions/violations.

Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Security Specialist to support SDA’s mission. Responsibilities include:

Required Qualifications

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
