Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) invites you to join its non-technical internship in the Arlington, Virginia area for a summer program. You’ll work on real projects alongside industry experts, gain hands-on experience across business operations, and receive mentoring and cross‑functional workshops.

As a corporate team member, you’ll analyze data, prepare reports, attend planning meetings, and contribute to process improvements in finance, marketing, HR, IT, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship.
• Relevant experience.
• Currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

• Familiarity with the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and software.
• Microsoft Access skills.

Essential Functions

• Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
• Proficiency with computers and office equipment.
• Manual dexterity for handling office supplies and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
• Ability to travel may be required.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $25.68 - $35.31.
