Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking an experienced Security Specialist III to support SNC's Security Program across personnel security, document control, physical security, and investigations. The role involves implementing and maintaining advanced security systems, policy development, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a related field (relevant experience may substitute for education).
• Active security clearance and ability to obtain/maintain SCI/SAP access.
• Detailed understanding of security regulations, compliance and best practices.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR 117: NISPOM/SCI-SAP regulations.
• Strong verbal and electronic communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Experience in Military or Aerospace/Defense industry.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial security practices.
• Experience with security information management systems.
• Experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems.
• Familiarity with ICD regulations.
• Experience with SCI or SAP Security.
• DISS/NISS experience.

We are seeking an experienced Security Specialist III or Technical Security Specialist III to support all facets of SNC's Security Program, including personnel security, document control, physical security, security investigations, and the implementation and maintenance of advanced security systems.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a related field (relevant experience may be considered a substitute for the required educational qualifications).
• Active security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain any Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or Special Access Programs (SAP) access required for the role.
• Detailed understanding of security regulations, compliance and best practices.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) or SCI/SAP regulations applicable to the role.
• Strong verbal and electronic communication skills.
• Self‑motivated.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in the Military or Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial security practices.
• Experience with security information management systems.
