Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Security Specialist / Assistant Facility Security Officer to join our team at the APG facility. You will perform personnel security actions, lead security support for contracts, and manage secure processes in line with DCSA standards.

The role requires an active Secret clearance with potential upgrade to TS/SCI, knowledge of NISPOM and ICDs, and experience with DISS/SIMS/SharePoint. You will coordinate with stakeholders and act as the on-site facilities coordinator.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required, upgrade to TS/SCI on hire.
• Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and ICDs.
• Completion of DCSA training (CDSE/STEPP).
• Understanding of personnel security processes: clearance processing, onboarding, reinvestigations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to safeguard classified information and ensure secure handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform personnel security actions for APG facility personnel, including clearances and visits.
• Lead security support for all contracts at the APG facility.
• Assist in managing a compliant security program for DCSA inspections.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan program execution.
• Serve as the main point of contact for security reporting for the facility.
• Support visitor control: escorting, access control, alarms.
