Job summary

DuraServ Corporate in Coppell, TX is seeking a Security Specialist to monitor, analyze, and protect our enterprise across Azure, endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

You will own threat and vulnerability management, cloud and endpoint security, and compliance alignment (NIST, CMMC, ISO, SOC, CIS, FedRAMP) using Defender, Sentinel, and Purview. This is an on-site role with no travel.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of practical experience in information security operations (SOC, IT security, or infrastructure security).
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles including threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and enterprise security controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure security environments and the Microsoft security technology stack (Defender, Sentinel, Purview).
• Familiarity with networking, OS security, IAM, endpoint security, and cloud security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and support remediation of security vulnerabilities across enterprise systems, applications, endpoints, cloud environments, and network infrastructure.
• Assess and prioritize security findings based on business risk, attack exposure, and operational impact.
• Identify exposed assets and misconfigurations before incidents occur; support incident response activities.
