FedEx Group in Middletown, CT, is seeking a regional security leader to protect people, assets, and brand integrity. You will conduct risk assessments, manage urgent incidents, and lead investigations into workplace violence, fraud, and losses.
The role requires coordinating with law enforcement, monitoring surveillance and access control, training partners, and traveling for on-site reviews. A Bachelor's degree and 3 years in security or loss prevention are expected.
Serves as primary regional security resource, supporting on-site security programs focused on protecting people, assets, and brand integrity. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, managing urgent incidents, and leading investigations into workplace violence, fraud, and losses. Acts as liaison with law enforcement and regulatory agencies, and oversees on-site security technologies. Tracks key metrics, mitigates risks, and assists in training business partners on security best practices.
Bachelor’s degree/Equivalent in directly related field. Related fields may include corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or supply chain loss prevention, loss analytics.
Three (3) years related experience required in corporate security, audit, military, law enforcement, transportation or supply chain loss prevention, and/or loss analytics.
Strong interpersonal communication, writing skills, and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of Microsoft based computer programs and the ability to prepare detailed reports. Ability to complete required training programs. Must maintain a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle.
Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. If required to carry a firearm as part of job duties, subject to random drug testing. Works in an industrial environment and must adhere to all safety considerations. Travel may be necessary.
Pay: INTERNAL: FEC_SH29 EXTERNAL: Min $42.86 - Max $53.71
