Job summary

Crane Venture Partners is seeking a Member of Technical Staff Intern to join our hybrid team in the SF area. You will influence product direction by shipping features across frontend, backend, and tooling.

You’ll work with Nuxt/Vue, NestJS, and Go, engineering a secure, scalable foundation while learning from customers and mentors. This internship offers hands-on ownership in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Experience building distributed systems at scale.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python or Go.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Kubernetes and Docker; knowledge of relational DBs and tests.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset and awareness of infrastructure trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own critical systems with a high degree of autonomy.
• Help define, scope, and review key projects; set priorities on the roadmap.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Document as you go and share knowledge with the team.
