Job summary

Google's Mandiant group within Google Cloud seeks a security professional to enable automation and orchestration in Cyber Defense Centers (CDCs). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver tooling, scripting, and process improvements for CDC operations.

You will join a high-velocity, technical team, administering diverse information security technologies, learning new tools, and protecting client data and assets across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 3 years of experience configuring and maintaining SOAR technologies in Security Engineering or similar roles.
• 3 years of experience with SOC/CSIRT or incident response teams.
• Experience with SIEM solutions, including writing queries, searches, alerts, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues in customer Cyber Defense Centers and plan improvements.
• Advise on technologies used by the client CDC, CSIRT, and SOC.
• Provide expertise for SOAR and other SOC technologies to aid incident response.
• Create and modify SOAR playbooks written in Python.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to drive security issue resolutions.
