Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Site Supervisor in Harrisburg, PA. This role oversees on-site security operations, staff scheduling, training, and quality assurance for a client site. It serves as the liaison between the client, Operations Managers, and security personnel.

The position requires a driving post with a valid license and at least 6 months of security experience. You will manage training, conduct performance reviews, and ensure service excellence during shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of security experience or the equivalent.
• Access Control / Badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Comfortable with computer or similar technology.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed diligently (staffing, scheduling, on-site training).
• Ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met.
• Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement.
• Inspect security personnel and performances for contract compliance.
• Handle payroll, incident reports, and post orders as needed.
• Recommend personnel actions for staff under supervision.
• Respond to client requests and emergencies as required.
• Provide direction to subordinates on duties.

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Site Supervisor in Harrisburg, PA. The general purpose and function of the Security Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client’s site. The Security Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Security Site Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license to meet AU Driver Policy requirements.

Pay Rate: $20 / Hour

Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual)

• Age Requirement: Candidates must be 21 years of age or older (C101).
• Security Experience: A minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience is required (C112).

What You'll Do

• Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal. personnel assigned to his/her site)
• Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
• Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS
• Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift
• Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)
• Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.
• Respond to client requests
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
• Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Must have 6+ months of security experience or the equivalent
• Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Access Control / Badge experience
• Alarm panel experience
• Be comfortable with computer and similar technology
