DSI Security Services is expanding and currently hiring Security Site Supervisors for our Suffolk, VA area. The role focuses on leading daily security operations, guiding officers, and ensuring client requirements and post instructions are followed with strict professionalism.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to train staff. A valid state license and pre-employment screenings are required.

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in security.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Evidence of reliable transportation and means of communication.
• Ability to perform routine foot patrols and work in all weather conditions.

Job Summary

The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations at an assigned site, ensuring personnel perform their duties in accordance with DSI policies, client requirements, and post instructions. This role requires strong leadership, professionalism, and a hands-on approach to site management.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned security personnel
• Assign patrol areas and monitor officer performance
• Train, mentor, and support new and existing security staff
• Enforce compliance with security protocols, post instructions, and safety policies
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors
• Observe, correct, and report hazards, incidents, and security concerns
• Ensure adherence to DSI and client-specific requirements
• Participate in required training and follow DSI safety procedures and manuals
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in the security field
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and means of communication
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
• Must meet all pre-employment requirements
