Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Supervisor to manage uniformed security services for a client site. The role oversees staffing, training, scheduling, and on-site operations, ensuring contract compliance and high quality service.

You will coordinate with client representatives and supervise security personnel to maintain safety and efficiency. The position requires a minimum of two years in a supervisory security role, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years verifiable supervisory experience in a security-related industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years of age with a valid driver’s license if using company/client vehicles.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all security function on-shift including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training.
• Ensure contract-required training and screening elements are met for personnel.
• Maintain OT levels and ensure service quality and contract compliance.
• Handle payroll related tasks, incident reports, and post orders as needed.
• Provide guidance and disciplinary actions as appropriate within supervision.

Allied Universal® is hiring a Shift Supervisor. The general purpose and function of the Shift Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a single shift at an Allied Universal® client’s site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-shift are performed In a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training)
• Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
• Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement
• Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift
• Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)
• Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision
• Respond to client requests
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties
• Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
• Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
• Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Current driver’s license If driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• Minimum of two (2) year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in a security-related Industry
• Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Effective oral and written interpersonal communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
• Problem solving skills
• Active listening skills
• Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Able to compile, sort, and interpret data
• Skilled in research, investigation, and in compiling information
• Able to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy
• Attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• College coursework in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management or related field
• Prior experience in the fire service, law enforcement, and/or military
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certified
