Hollywood Casino Kansas Speedway is seeking a Security Shift Manager to join our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide friendly, efficient customer service, delivering Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests and team members.
2. Oversee all security operations, including in the casino, parking lots, and off-site facilities.
3. Ensure all procedures are followed by officers per internal controls and gaming regulations.
4. Direct the work of Security Officers.
5. Manage daily work rosters and assign security areas.
6. Prepare monthly schedules ensuring adequate staffing at all posts.
7. Handle emergencies such as disorderly patrons, medical issues, gaming law violations, and intoxication.
8. Conduct safety and emergency equipment checks and drills.
9. Review and forward security reports.
10. Investigate policy, procedure, and gaming law violations, and document findings.
11. Act as liaison during shifts.
12. Exclude patrons when necessary.
13. Assign tasks among team members.
14. Supervise work processes and implement effective techniques.
15. Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide feedback.
16. Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas.
17. Transfer Table Games fills and credits, provide escorts, and testify in court if needed.
18. Interview, select, and train new team members.
19. Manage disciplinary actions and recognize team members.
20. Handle staffing changes, attendance, and labor costs.
21. Comply with bargaining agreements and grooming standards.
22. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience; five years of casino security or law enforcement preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work on level surfaces and stairs; valid driver’s license required.
