Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Computer Screening in Louisville, KY to protect clients across logistics and distribution environments. You will monitor access points, screen individuals and materials, and support a secure, compliant operation.

You will work a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule, earn $18.00 per hour, and join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and customer service. Training and opportunities for career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and belongings in accordance with site procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items through established reporting channels.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials or authorization as required, helping to deter unauthorized entry into controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including facility entrances, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
