Job summary

KVC Missouri Residential Treatment Center in Springfield, MO is seeking a Security & Safety Coach to create a safe, nurturing environment for youth and adults. You will diffuse tense situations, guide daily activities, and model safe behaviors. When needed, you will assume a leadership role in the Cottage Life Supervisor's absence.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 1 year of related experience. Competitive pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Keep the unit safe, clean and orderly.
• Follow individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide needed supports to youth and adults.
• Assist with patient supervision and engagement.
• Use crisis intervention and emergency response as needed.
• Document all required forms and reports accurately and timely.
