Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Dispatch/Rover Officer at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing site in Jackson, TN. This 3rd shift runs Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and pays $20.00 per hour.

This role combines security dispatch operations and active patrol duties, monitoring cameras, documenting incidents, and enforcing site policies. Ideal candidates have customer service or security experience and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• TN Guard Card preferred, or ability to obtain a TN Guard Card.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service or security service experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by management.
