Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Security Risk Operations Lead to advance its security risk management program. You will own cross-functional projects, operational workflows, and stakeholder engagement in a hybrid work model, with a base in Bellevue, WA or McLean, VA.

You will partner with security, engineering, compliance, and business teams to drive risk reviews, priority alignment, and remediation, building scalable processes and leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) or related areas.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and risk initiatives.
• Strong ability to translate risk findings into actions and governance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid risk decisions by coordinating reviews and escalations with stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional projects, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Own and improve risk workflows, including policy exceptions and remediation.
• Partner with security, engineering, compliance, and business teams to align priorities and drive decisions.
• Build scalable processes, escalation paths, and leadership reports on risk.
• Define metrics and dashboards to show risk exposure and program effectiveness.
• Find ways to automate workflows in collaboration with engineering teams.
