Progyny, Inc in NYC is seeking a security governance associate to conduct vendor risk assessments, coordinate corrective actions, and help enforce security policies. You will support incident response exercises, audit programs, and GRC reporting, contributing to the long-term information security roadmap while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidate has a BS/BA, strong communication, and experience with Office tools; familiarity with HIPAA, PCI, or NIST is a plus.

Formación

• BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with office and communication tools (Office365, Outlook/Gmail, Teams/Slack).
• Strong analytical thinker who is organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage tasks within timelines.
• Team oriented approach to meet compliance requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Conduces security assessments and audits of vendors through our vendor risk management platform.
• Prepares and coordinates corrective actions
• Assist with the enforcement of information security policies, standards, and guidelines
• Participates in tabletop exercises related to incident response and disaster recovery procedures
• Participate in ticket queue management and assignment of tasks
• Assist with the delivery of annual security awareness and privacy trainings
• Assist with implementing Security GRC projects dashboard reporting
• Participate in the internal audit program
• Assist with remediation of control deficiencies and gaps identified for SOC 2 TYPE II & HITRUST
• Assist Control Owners in maintenance & remediation of control activities for Internal Audit
• Contributes to the long-term information security roadmap
