Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Receptionist in Midvale, UT to greet guests and safeguard clients across industries. The role includes enforcing access controls and supporting security operations to maintain a safe environment.

You will need at least 1 year of security experience, be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles), and work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, at a pay of $23.00 per hour. Join a team that prioritizes professional service and incident response.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Prior experience as a receptionist.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Observe persons entering and exiting to protect employees and assets.
• Ensure proper sign-in with badge and compliance codes.
• Log and audit distribution of temporary/visitor badges monthly.
• Mitigate intruders and escort visitors at all times.
• Monitor visible and audible alarms.
• Submit a daily activity report to leadership with key updates.
