Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Training and Development professional in Dallas, TX to train and certify security personnel on site procedures and responsibilities. You will coach officers, support onboarding, and help sustain high standards of security service.

Qualified candidates bring strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, with prior security experience. You will collaborate with supervisors to maintain compliance and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior security experience required.
• Ability to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Training and Development

• Provide coaching and mentorship to security officers.
• Assist with onboarding and development of new personnel when assigned.

Documentation and Reporting

• Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and operational documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, leadership, and security personnel regarding operational concerns and incidents.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older .
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior security experience required.
• Ability to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Control Room Operator, Security Responder, Screening Officer, or Lead Officer.
• Experience with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, visitor management systems, and security screening procedures.
• Experience in corporate, critical infrastructure, industrial, technology, or high-security environments.
• Training, coaching, or mentoring experience.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications preferred.

Technical Skills

Candidates must be comfortable using technology and be proficient with:

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, walking, or sitting depending on assignment.
