Job summary

Aery Aviation, LLC is seeking a Facility Security Officer to oversee the security program for cleared facilities in Newport News, VA. The role requires coordinating DCSA inspections, processing clearances, and maintaining security documentation to meet government and contractual obligations.

The successful candidate will have a Secret clearance, 3+ years of FSO experience, and strong JPAS/e-QIP proficiency, with excellent briefing and interpersonal skills for sustained compliance and security

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required and an active security clearance is necessary.
• Experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) with 3+ years in a cleared facility.
• Proficiency with JPAS, e-QIP, SF-86, SF-312, and security investigations.
• Strong presentation, briefing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall security program for cleared contractor facilities.
• Prepare the facility for DCSA security inspections and respond to findings.
• Process employee security clearances and manage visits to protected areas.
• Coordinate with IT/ISSM/ISSO and government security representatives.
• Maintain security documentation, records, and training records.
