Job summary

Akima Data Management (ADM), an Akima company, seeks a Security Program Analyst II to support the Department of State Diplomatic Security in Rosslyn, VA. The role focuses on protecting Worldwide Protective Services programs, including K9, equipment standardization, and drug testing contracts.

The SPA II works with DS officials and vendors to vet contractors, analyze resumes, and ensure data integrity across DS/IP/OPO databases.

Qualifications

Associate degree required.
One year of experience, six months of which must be specialized in administration of security-related programs.
Background knowledge of security industry standards and practices and/or Department of State security regulations, standards, and policies.
Active SECRET clearance required.

Responsibilities

Provide support for Worldwide Protective Services (WPS) programs, including Global Canine (K9), DS Equipment Standardization, and Drug Testing contracts.
Assist Facility Protection Division and Operational Support Division security programs as needed.
Vet commercial Contractors for DS Worldwide Protective Services contract and other tasks; coordinate with DS elements and vendors on security clearances; analyze resumes and biographical data to ensure contractual requirements are met.
Analyze information from various sources to ensure data integrity of DS/IP/OPO databases; support senior management and program officers in responses to requests from DS, posts, and vendors.
