Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex Driver Patrol in Chicago, IL. The role covers a variety of sites with irregular, shift-based work and a pay rate of $20.60 per hour. Expect 30–40 hours weekly, with self-scheduling and manager-assigned shifts.

You’ll patrol, monitor, report, and assist clients across multiple industries, supporting a long-term security career. Candidates must be available for varying shifts, transport, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Multilingual communication skills are a plus.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Background check and drug screen are part of employment.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in emergencies.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
