Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to patrol designated areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents across multiple sites. The role utilizes our shift-pickup platform to build a schedule around availability, offering hands-on experience and growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.

You will work with a team, engage with clients and the public professionally, and address security concerns with discretion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check required per federal/state/local laws; violations considered per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft; ensure authorization.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
