Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will use a shift-pickup platform to claim shifts based on availability, enabling you to build a schedule that fits your life while gaining diverse site experience.

You may be called on to work irregular shifts with little notice. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service in dynamic environments across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required as permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to document clearly.
• Active listening and problem-solving; assess and evaluate situations quickly.
• Mediating conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions and report security concerns.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department as needed.
• Control access; monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper property removal.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
