Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check required; disclosures handled per law.
• Drug screen required.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ if armed).
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to adapt to different posts.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and monitor consoles.
• Effective written and spoken communication; strong public interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unsafe conditions and report them.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire when needed.
• Warn violators and monitor entrances/exits.
• Permit authorized persons to enter and safeguard property.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft; verify proper removal.
• Prepare reports on accidents and incidents; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
