Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Branch Flex Unarmed Patrol Holiday Coverage in Gahanna, OH. Work 30-40 hours weekly with a variable schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends, under the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Irregular shifts with little advance notice support client needs and offer growth opportunities.

Pay rate is $18.99 per hour. This role requires availability for varied shifts, reliable transport, background check, and a valid driver's license for driving

Qualifications

• Willing to work varying shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Willing to travel to Branch Flex assignments as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions and report security concerns.
• Sound alarms or notify police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rules and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel and protect company property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
