Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. You’ll use our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on your availability, building a schedule that fits your life while gaining site experience across industries.

No prior security experience is required; the role emphasizes reliability, communication, and the ability to adapt to different posts.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and monitor consoles.
• Strong communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit entry and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper asset removal.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
