Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring for a Security Platform Engineering role in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will work on one of the largest Data Lakes using AWS technologies to support Security Engineers and protect Amazon operations.

You will design, implement, and test scalable security tooling, automate deployments, and collaborate with security teams to handle petabyte-scale data ingestion while maintaining availability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• You will design, implement, and test systems for Security Engineers using AWS services to build highly available infrastructure.
• You will automate deployments, upgrades, and system changes to support security operations across Amazon.
• You will work with Security Engineers and ensure the systems can ingest petabytes of data and remain reliable, including on-call duties.
