Jubitz Corporation is seeking an on-site Security Officer for our multi-acre Portland travel center. You will perform foot patrols and vehicle rounds, ensuring safety for guests, employees, and assets while providing first-line public contact.

Role emphasizes professional interaction, incident reporting, and adherence to post orders. Must carry DPSST and CPR/AED certifications and possess a valid Oregon/Washington driver’s license. Part-time with benefits and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Two years of security experience preferred.
• DPSST and CPR/AED certification required.
• A valid Oregon or Washington State driver’s license with clean driving record required to drive company vehicle.
• Ability to handle verbal and physical confrontational situations professionally.
• Excellent communication skills including reading, writing, listening, speaking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Security of the facility as a first-line public contact across the travel center.
• Daily rounds of the property by foot and vehicle.
• Assist in crowd control, employee escort, and surveillance of campus.
• Provide transportation services in the company shuttle.
• Prepare incident reports involving theft, loss, or damage and ensure compliance with OLCC laws.

Description

Responsible for ensuring the security and safety of the facility, patrons, employees, and company assets across a multi-acre travel center. As a first-line public contact, this position requires high visibility, professional interaction, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities include conducting security operations, performing routine rounds, providing shuttle transportation for customers, following established post orders, and assisting with incident response. Other duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor and Manager.

This position is an on-site security officer. Officers should expect 75% foot patrol & the remaining time in a vehicle.

• Wage: $20.50/hourly during 90 day introductory period.

Requirements

• Monitor compliance with OLCC laws in appropriate areas as required by law.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, drive or walk for a minimum of 8 hours. This position is both indoors and outdoors. The position may require extensive amounts of standing or walking in potential weather conditions of extreme heat or rain. The company operates out of several buildings spread across a multi-acre campus. Ability to travel between buildings is necessary. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
