Job summary

DESE Research, Inc. seeks an Intermediate Security Specialist to support DSS Security Operations for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

This on-site role focuses on implementing the MDA DSS-O program, protecting personnel and assets, and ensuring DoD and MDA security standards are met. The ideal candidate holds a Secret clearance with 8+ years of relevant experience and can lead or support teams to solve complex problems while utilizing Power BI and other security tools.

Qualifications

• Secret security clearance required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently or in leading/supporting teams to solve complex problems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Power BI, Microsoft Lists, and Teams apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and technical expertise for design, procurement, and installation of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) for MDA.
• Deliver cradle-to-grave ESS technical services for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, or CCTV system services.
• Maintain ESS components per DoD, MDA, and manufacturer specs.
• Conduct site surveys and report findings to relevant personnel.
• Validate PII and training certificates from staff; manage ESS tickets and coordinate with external contractors.
