Zusammenfassung

The State of Connecticut DAS - Bureau of Information Technology Solutions seeks a Security Operations Lead (IT Manager 2) to direct the Security Operations function in Hartford, CT. The role oversees the SOC, SIEM/EDR, incident response and forensics, with supervision of security staff and consultants.

Hybrid, Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, first shift 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Occasional after-hours work may be required to respond to incidents and coordinate with agencies.

Qualifikationen

• Ten (10) years of experience in information technology security or operations.
• Experience supervising security operations staff and contractors.
• Experience coordinating cyber incident response activities.

Aufgaben

• Direct the Security Operations Center and related platforms for monitoring and triage.
• Oversee enterprise SIEM, SOAR, EDR and log source coverage and daily operations.
• Coordinate information security incident response with agencies and partners.
• Lead digital forensic investigations and present findings to leadership and legal.
• Manage staff, contractors, and evaluation of security operations work.
