Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security seeks a full-time supervisor to lead Transportation Security Officers and oversee screening operations at La Sal, UT. You will review performance, provide coaching, approve leave, and respond to incidents, collaborating with TSA leadership and airport partners to ensure effective operations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience supervising transportation-security operations.
• Experience as a supervisor or work leader, with ability to distribute workloads and train staff.
• Must meet pay-band level and pass standard background and suitability checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transportation Security Officers and Lead Transportation Security Officers.
• Oversee screening operations for passengers, baggage, and cargo as applicable.
• Assign work, set priorities, and coordinate rotations and coverage.
• Make security-based decisions using TSA procedures and judgment.
• Review performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Approve leave and handle routine workplace concerns.
• Respond to security incidents, disruptions, and emergencies.
• Prepare briefings, logs, incident reports, and management communications.
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders, law‑enforcement, and TSA leadership.
• Suggest improvements to procedures, staffing, and airport operations.
