Job summary

CNA Corporation is seeking a qualified Security Officer to manage physical and personnel security at our headquarters in a 2pm-10pm EST shift. The role requires maintaining access control, visitor management, and reporting security incidents to protect personnel, property, and sensitive information.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of high-level security experience, preferably on a DoD or military site, and must hold an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of security experience; DOD or military site experience preferred.
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with security protocols and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee entry/exit points, screen visitors and employees, and control movement of people and vehicles.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following established protocols.
• Document security incidents, logs, and prepare reports for management.
• Greet visitors and employees, verify identities, grant access, and issue badges.
• Conduct patrols to monitor the facility and deter unauthorized access.
